The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) declared the mains result of the Assistant Engineer (AEN) Combined Competitive Exam 2024 on 16 October 2026. In all, 1,214 candidates in Civil/Agriculture engineering and 314 in Mechanical/Electrical engineering have been declared successful for the interview. The result is provisional and subject to eligibility checks at the interview. This page shows how to check the PDF, what the cut-off means, and what to carry to the interview.

How to Check the RPSC AEN Mains Result

  1. Go to rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in.
  2. Open the Results or Latest News section.
  3. Click the link for the Assistant Engineer Combined Competitive Exam mains result.
  4. Download the PDF and search for your roll number (Ctrl+F).
  5. Save a copy and note your category and status.

The notice lists the qualified candidates for each branch along with the category-wise cut-off. The result is provisional: every candidate is subject to eligibility checks at the interview, and the whole result is subject to the final decision of the Rajasthan High Court, Jodhpur, in DB Civil Writ Petition No. 1123/2025. The notice also lists 17 candidates whose results are administratively withheld.

RPSC AEN Mains Cut Off

RPSC has published the cut-off in the result notice, branch by branch. In the notice, "ALL" means all candidates who obtained the minimum qualifying marks as per service rules, and "N.A." means no candidates were available because of those minimum qualifying marks.

For Civil/Agriculture (PHED, PWD, WRD and Panchayati Raj Department) the cut-off is ALL in the General, GEN. WE and (for General) DV rows of every category, so everyone who met the minimum qualifying marks has been called. The WD rows are N.A., and so are the DV rows for SC, ST and OBC.

For Mechanical/Electrical (PHED, PWD and WRD) the cut-off marks are:

The notice does not state the maximum marks, so no percentage is given here. It also gives separate cut-offs for horizontal posts (Ex-Servicemen and PH); check the PDF for those.

For reference, one source says the mains qualifying criteria are 35% in each of Paper I (Hindi) and Paper II (Social Aspects of Engineering) and 40% in aggregate — confirm this against the official RPSC advertisement before relying on it.

What to Do After the Result

  • Download the detailed application form: get the detailed application form with the attestation form from rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in, fill two copies and bring both to the interview.
  • Check your category and status in the PDF, then keep your category certificate ready.
  • Prepare for the interview: revise core engineering subjects, your degree projects and field exposure, and read up on the work of the PHED, PWD, WRD and Panchayati Raj departments. The interview date has not been announced yet.
  • Keep documents ready: originals and photocopies of all certificates, such as photo ID, class 10 and 12 marksheets, degree marksheets, category certificate and any experience proof.
  • Watch the RPSC site for the interview schedule, which RPSC will intimate later.
